Thunder cracked in the sky, lightening lighting up their room. Rain pelted hard against the mountain, and the younger boy shook in the others arms.
"God, you're freezing, Rob," Wally commented, running his hands over his arms in an attempt to warm the boy up. "Dick, sorry."
"I-im sorry you have to deal with me," Dick replied, shivering in his arms some more.
The ginger smiled at him, tilting his head up to look at him. "Dude, don't worry about it. You're my boyfriend, im never 'putting up' with you."
"Thanks."
Dick shook in his arms some more, pressing his cold nose against his neck. He clutched at his chest, balling that fabric of his shirt in his hands. "I love you, Walls," he murmured, barley audible in the room.
"I love you, too, Dick," Wally whispered back, bringing him to lay on his chest, staring into his blue eyes, "My god, this weather isn't helping your fever at all. Your skin is burning up, but you're shivering. Won't Bats take you to a doctor?"
The blue eyed boy shook his head, sniffling a bit. His eyes were red, his nose stuff, and whole body cold, raked with shivers. He didn't like being sick, it meant he would miss days of school, and he couldn't go on missions with the rest of the team. It meant he couldn't leave his room, and he could only heat soup and drink orange juice.
It meant time with his boyfriend was limited, and he was lonely. He couldn't sleep, and often woke up with a headache and drenched in sweat.
Wally tightened his arms around his waist, rocking him gently and humming softly into his hear. Another crack of thunder broke the silence, and he kissed his head. His thumbs traced circles on his hips, and he couldn't help but move his head down to kiss his lips.
"No," Dick pulled away, turning his head in the other direction and getting a slight pout on his face. "I'll get you sick."
"I don't care," Wally replied, tilting his head back to face him. He swooped his head down, slowly capturing his lips in a chaste, passionate kiss. Their lips moved against one another slowly.
Dick pulled away, breathing in a lungful of air and placing his head down on his chest. "I love you," he whispered before he passed out from his fever.

No Words Needed
It was Friday afternoon and the cave was eerily quiet.
Practically no one was around. Conner, Megan, and Kaldur were off on a special off world mission, meaning the cave was currently empty.
All except for a certain speedster.
In one of the many restrooms present in the cave, Wally West was standing in front of a mirror staring at his own reflection.
Sad green eyes stared back at him as his gaze shifted to the large purple bruise that was currently forming on his right cheek. He gently ran his fingers over the purple spot and winced when he felt a familiar sense of pain flow through his body.
He looked up at his reflection once more as h

Seeing Him
The first time Batman had ever seen Richard Grayson was, contrary to popular belief, not at the circus. It had been a few days before, actually, at night in a dismally gray alleyway.
It had been a cold February night, but there wasn't much snow left on the ground. John Grayson had apparently wanted to grab a late night bite to eat, and his eager eight-year-old son had tagged along, insisting on doing nearly everything his father did like many boys at that age. Most of the night had passed uneventfully; the Joker was quiet, no large robberies, nobody from the rogue gallery had acted up. For Batman, it was almost peaceful.
He had been on a st

Safe
Robin grunted as he jumped back from the Joker, narrowly avoiding being sliced in half.
"I've always wanted to carve up this bird!" Joker cooed maniacally, laughing as he moved in closer. Robin leaped back, noticing with dismay that he was being lured farther and farther away from the group. A few yards away, he noticed Wally being slammed out of the way by Count Vertigo, and winched in sympathy.
And then he ducked again, because the Joker's blade was just where his head had been a few moment ago.
"Aww, hold still, Boy Blunder." Joker hissed, his smile widening. The stretched red lips and bleached white skin look ghostly in the fading ligh
