This place is not safe, he knows that. He knows that he should not be walking down these halls alone in the middle of the day with no one to protect him. Scratch that: without Hikaru. He knew he would be extremely mad at him for not listening. But he needs to do this alone. He needs to do something alone for once in his life without his older twin.
Just as he finished this thought, a hand came down on the back of his neck, pulling the collar of his blazer back and forcing him to choke. Its one of them, one of the jocks that likes to beat him up for no apparent reason. He should cry for Hikaru, or maybe a teacher. But hes frozen in fear. His feet wont move.
But right before another hit is about to make its way to his already bruised ribs, he ducks out of the way and onto the floor, rolling on his side coughing. His ribs were still very bruised and weren't going to get any better if this kept happening. He was all ready on the floor, he realized after a moment, and this is the best position to get kicked.
The bully seemed to notice this too, because he received a kick right to his side, just below the ribs. Still, he sucked in a breath, but it really could have been much worse. Much worse, and hes thankful that hes not with any of the other bullies or he would really be hurting right about now.
Instead of standing up for himself, he curls into a ball and hopes that the guy will stop before hes bleeding again. Under the skin and over the skin. It hurts badly already as it is, and he really wouldn't like Hikaru to know about anymore beatings. He got too emotional and it pained Kaoru to see him angry. Especially since it would be mostly his fault. He didn't tell him when he should have.
"Had enough yet?" The guy kicking him asked in a deep, throaty voice.
"I've never had enough!" Kaoru replied back through his painful gasps. Okay, so maybe it didn't help to egg them on and be smart with them, but he couldn't help it. It was natural to make the mean ones mad. He hated this guy anyway.
He was about to pass out from pain –such bad pain!- when he heard a voice come from down the hall. He looked up through the tears that he didn't know had fallen. Down the hall a figure came into view, but he couldn't make out who it was. The voice kept yelling, though, and was soon followed by a few other voice. He vaguely recognized his brothers voice with the rest of the host clubs voices.
"Kaoru!" Hikaru was by his side within six seconds. "Kaoru! Kaoru, can you hear me? Please! Say something!"
"Hikaru," he managed, though he couldn't really focus on the picture in front of him. "Im sorry… I didn't tell you… sooner…"
And just like that, everything went blank. He fell limp into his brothers arms and his eyes shut. The world turned black and he couldn't find the damn light switch!
He didn't hear Tamaki yelling at the guy who was kicking him, he didn't hear Honey-sempai and Mori-sempai trying not to kill him, he didn't hear Kyoya calling for an ambulance, and he didn't hear Haruhi trying to calm everybody down.

"Hikaru?"
All I get is a yawn. Unable to resist, I yawn too, and try to get comfortable with half of a sheet in the crisp, pre-dawn air. Whoever left the window open yesterday is going to catch hell.
I try to pull more of the blanket towards me, but Hikaru turns over and takes it all away. Damn.
I'm not going to wake him up. He looks serene when he's sleeping, always smiling slightly. I, on the other hand, get ridiculed for sleeping with a scowl on my face. I feel that exact scowl coming on.
At least I have some semblance of common sense.

I love it when he says my name.
"Hikaru?"
He's looking around for me. He'll find me in a minute. His sweet way of saying my name no matter what the tone or mood of it is, is simple yet prefect. He's like a god, or something
a god of being beautiful.
"Hikaru?" he says again.
Kaoru is so cute. The way of innocence that he has is amazing. We're the Little Devil type, right? How is it that Kaoru is so adorable and angelic? He finally opens the door to our room and finds me laying on the bed, thinking about him.
"Hikaru, I couldn't find you anywhere!" h

HikaKao: Jealousy
The quiet night was interrupted in an instant. The annoying ringer blasted sound waves through the twin's room, making them both stir. The older was the first to wake up, and as Hikaru reached for the cell phone, his younger twin, Kaoru, woke up as well. He mumbled a few profanities as he talked to the male on the other line. Kaoru rubbed his left eye as he sat up while watching his sleep deprived brother talk on the phone. Sometimes the younger boy wondered how Hikaru could keep a phone for so long, what with him throwing it across the room so many times. After a few moments, Hikaru swore again, all the while hanging up, closing the cell wi
