"Uhh..." was the only thing that came out of Connor's mouth as he was forced in the car by his mentor, Clark. "They know I can hardly take care of myself, right?"
He received a smile from the man of steel, "Dont worry, Dick and Wally are good kids. We only need you to watch them for today and tonight because Bruce, Barry, and I are going on a trip. Alfred's cousin got sick, so hes helping take care of him. You'll be fine."
Connor directed his blue eyes in front of him, watching the scenery go by from the windshield. He didnt understand why they couldnt just hire Roy again, or maybe Kaldur. Even Megan would do a better job at baby-sitting then he would. He can hardly take care of himself without the help of others.
Mayebe that was why he was the one baby-sitting.Because the mentors wanted him to learn to do things on his own? That by looking after two kids could teach him something? He didnt think their plan would work very well.
According to the new reports, Robin and Kid Flash were very mature and were more than capable of looking out for themselves. Dick was still just seven, and Wally only nine; but that didnt mean they couldnt watch themselves. Dick could look over Wally, and Wally could look over Dick. It seemed like a perfect plan, in his mind.
But they pulled into the Wayne Manor driveway anyway, Bruce and Barry already waiting on the steps with Dick and Wally in front of them, already playing a game of patty-cake. They paused momentarily to smile at the car before turning their head back to each other and finishing their game. The both looked up to their mentors with smiles bright on their faces. "You can go now," Dick insisted while nodding. "We'll be okay."
Bruce looked down at his adopted son with a stern look. "There are rules, Dick," he replied, picking the boy up off the ground and into his arms. "Bed before eight-thirty. No sugar. No sprite for Wally. No climbing trees. R-rated movies are a no-no.-"
"I know, I know," Dick rolled his eyes, placing one hand on his adoptive fathers face in attempt to shut him up. "And no trying to fly and no hiding behind the fridge. I got it."
Snickers came from around the pair. "Well, if you understand the rules, I guess we can go," Bruce replied, putting the boy down on his feet and placing a kiss to his head. "Behave."
"I will."
Wally turned to his own mentor and simply smiled at him. "Bye bye, you can go now!" He waved his hand in the way you would see in old timey movies, a hint that him and Dick just reccently watched an oldie together.
"Alright, be good," Barry ruffled Wally's hair before retreating down the drive way. "I'll be in the car," he called back to Clark and Bruce.
Bruce and Clark looked at each other before rolling their own eyes. "Boys, this is Connor." Bruce introduced, pointing a finger over his shoulder at said boy.
Connor looked up when he heard his name. "He will be your sitter," Bruce continued, ignoring the obvious glare he was recieving from said boy. "Treat him right. Be respectfull."
Dick and Wally rolled their own eyes and turned back to each other, playing patty-cake once again.

Slam!
I slam my bedroom door hard behind me as I storm through the manor towards the batcave. For the first time in my life, i was actually getting some damn sleep when Father called through some hidden device in my room. He'd said to come down to the Batcave immediately, without any question. He didn't say it was a mission. He didn't say it was urgent. Just to get down there.
Even though these people are my family, they irritate me to no end. Father is commanding, Alfred is too non-chalant, and Grayson-where do I even start with Grayson? He's too easy-going, joking, laid-back, irresponsible, bossy-the list could go on and on. If it wasn't

Hypothermia Part 3
Superboy cursed.
What the hell is he supposed to do? Robin wasn't breathing and his heart had stopped. He was dead. Oh God, Robin was dead.
Superboy pressed himself and Robin closer to the fire and tried to think of something, anything that would bring the Boy Wonder back to life, because Robin couldn't be dead. He may have been mortal but it wasn't possible for him to just die!
There was a noise, dear god; he really hoped it wasn't those damn guards because Superboy didn't think he would be able to hold back.

Dad
"You're never going to call me 'Father,' are you?" I ask Damian with a smirk as he stomps through the batcave with a small scowl. He stops for a moment and turns to me, blue eyes narrowing into a glare.
"Never," he replies sharply. I just chuckle at his childish attitude before turning back to the Batcomputer to type in the report, the cave going silent. About halfway through, a word breaks through the silence, so soft I almost don't hear it.
"However..." I hear quietly behind me. I turn my head just enough to glance over my shoulder and catch a glimpse of the barely noticeable blush on Damian's cheeks before he looks away. I can't keep mys
